What ban-safe LinkedIn sending actually looks like
The limits, windows, and habits that keep a LinkedIn account healthy while you run outreach — and the shortcuts that get accounts restricted.
- Deliverability
The fastest way to kill an outreach channel is to treat LinkedIn like email. It isn't. The platform watches behavior, not just content, and the accounts that survive are the ones that look human.
The non-negotiables
- Daily caps. A real person sends a handful of connection requests a day, not hundreds. Pick a cap and hold it.
- A send window. Messages going out at 3am every day is a tell. Send during working hours, on working days.
- A weekly ceiling. Even under a daily cap, a rolling seven-day ceiling keeps a burst from looking like a script.
- Watch the accept rate. If acceptance drops, slow down — it's the platform's early-warning signal, and yours.
Why volume is a trap
More sends feels like progress, but each marginal message lowers your reply rate and raises your risk. The math favors restraint: ten grounded, well-timed messages will out-book a hundred generic ones, and they won't cost you the account.
Run outreach that doesn't get you banned.
